Wisdom's Call
Hi! sorry about not updating people! Having overnight at the airport on sunday itself and couldn't share about my qt learnings..my apologies..
Today i was reading Proverbs 8-9 and God showed me the importance of gaining wisdom from Him who created it and what are the characteristics of wisdom.
Today i was reading Proverbs 8-9 and God showed me the importance of gaining wisdom from Him who created it and what are the characteristics of wisdom.
6 Leave your simple ways and you will live;
walk in the way of understanding.7 "Whoever corrects a mocker invites insult;
whoever rebukes a wicked man incurs abuse.8 Do not rebuke a mocker or he will hate you;
rebuke a wise man and he will love you.9 Instruct a wise man and he will be wiser still;
teach a righteous man and he will add to his learning.
These are verses from Proverbs 9 and it kept me thinking for quite long. I took some time pondering before i got to see what exactly God's trying to tell me...
God actually mean that if i have no understanding in my walk with Him, probably i would be like the mocker or wicked man. When i am rebuked or corrected by the wise man, i turned away instead of gaining understanding of why i am corrected and taught to the right ways. Many times, people of God, they forgot about the purpose why they did it. They did not understand the purpose behind all things. That's why some choose to turn away and fall when they couldn't take what they're corrected on. How about you?
For me, from today's learning, i am reminded to be strong and understanding why am i being corrected by leaders and followers of Christ. When i started to understand in why the other party corrected me and the reason God does that to me, everything's different. I knew i had to learn in my walk with God.
Wise are people who listen :)

Basically, She loves to eat and goes hungry easily. She can't live without food. We don't know what's wrong with her tummy. Hmm... guys, you all pray for her. She loves to drink ice milo and always yearn for macdonalds. But well, she clings on to God tightly in her life. No matter how many times she get discouraged, how many times she fail, she will look onto God for strength and move on. Great spirit right?

Mahjong is her lover. She would keep nagging us to play mahjong with her, and she always win(we let her one). She always have weird habits like bringing her socks wherever she goes, and wearing it with slippers. However as a loving caregroup, we still love her as who she is. She is one who really love people alot alot! She would just go extra miles for people and keep on loving them despite people fail her!

Her voice is LOUDDDDDD! HAHA! If you need to get attention for large crowd, get her! Always facebook-ing and tagging people with notes(my mails are flooded with "chua pei jun has tagged you with a note."!). Though being youngest in our group spiritually, she showed her faithfulness in doing things! She would always served others, helping others to carry things, her serving spirit really blessed alot of people around her!

She is one of our skinny tall tower, and our "zai" guitarist in the caregroup! She will never went missing with her height. She loves to talk craps even sometimes we don't understand what she is talking about, she'll still continue talking(laugh at her!). She is always excited in serving God, never fails to bring her excitement around. Her zealousness for God influences people to "get high" for JESUS!

She is the shortest one in our caregroup! HAHA! Her spastic facial expression makes our day! Don't be fool by her quiet appearance, because looks are deceiving. She is actually super noisy and irritating! However, her desire for God is not just big, but really BIG! She desire of wanting to know God more brings her to a consistency walk with God and also a blessing to others as well.

Actually she is the shortest among all of us. But we dont know why she said karen the shortest. But as a loving CG, we shall give her chance trying to be tall. She claimed that she is slim and we find that her name is unique. she love to sing and make funny noises but still cg will love her. dont we? dont see her short and her blur look! ahbe desire to grow for GOD is bigger than her brain. she hope to take up more challenges for the kingdom of GOD. WOW AMEN! May her bubbly personalites brings joy and blessing to the people!
